Specially stuffed head of a Texel ram. It is a very special and beautiful specimen. The Texel is a breed of sheep that evolved from the original Texel breed. In the second half of the 19th century, this old breed was crossed with a number of English breeds to get a better wool and meat yield. For this purpose mainly the Lincoln, Leicester and Wensleydale sheep were used. In this way, a stable breed was bred with excellent characteristics. In addition to the white Texel, there is also a blue variant.
