Mounted marten dog or raccoon dog

Mounted raccoon dog/marten dog in quiet standing pose. The raccoon dog or marten dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides) is a predator in the canine family (Canidae). It is native to East Asia, but nowadays feral specimens also live in Europe. It owes its name to a striking resemblance to the common raccoon (Procyon lotor).
