Decorative stone fruit

A unique collection of handmade stone fruit, comprising various types of apples, pears, peaches and figs. Each piece has been individually moulded and hand-coloured, giving the fruit a surprisingly natural and lifelike appearance. The subtle colour variations, signs of wear and patina lend the objects a lovely, well-worn character.

This type of decorative stone fruit was widely used in still lifes and as interior decoration. It looks lovely displayed as a group in an antique bowl, on a table or amongst other curiosities.
