This set of two statues depicts Raksasas, mythological demon warriors from Balinese and Hindu culture. They are carved from stone and were used as temple guardians to ward off evil. Statues of this kind were used as spiritual protectors and exude strength and vigilance. They make beautiful decorative pieces for both indoor and outdoor use.
