Classic and very nicely stuffed yellow wing macaw (Ara macao) which is mounted on an antique looking wooden console.

The yellow-winged macaw (Ara macao) is a parrot-like bird from the family (Psittacidae). The scientific name of the species was published as Psittacus macao in 1758 by Carl Linnaeus. It is the national bird of Honduras. The motley plumage contains many yellows, reds and blues and some green. Characteristic is the black and white part of the bill and the pale, unfeathered cheeks. The bird has a length of 90 centimeters.
